Prior to this position, she served as a Vice Principal at the same school from 2003-2005. In that position, she carried out the responsibilities of an administrative position including teacher evaluation, curricular and instructional leader.
Prior to her administrative experience, she served as a teacher accumulating 17 years of instructional experience in a variety of grade levels. The grade levels include; Kindergarten, second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eighth and ninth grade. During her teaching years, she was able to work with diverse populations who varied in their levels of English language understanding.
She received her undergraduate degree, teaching credential and Master’s degree at Sacramento State University.
